This is where you can set up the leave cycle for Annual, Medical and Child Care Leave. This setting is across all companies. ✓Join Date – leave cycle will be based on the employees’ joining date ✓Financial Year – leave cycle will be based on the calendar year specified in From and To dates ✓Calculate Earned Leave for Annual, Medical, Child Care Leave – will prorate the leave based on the completed month per leave cycle ✓Allow Annual Leave after Confirmation Only – once ticked, the employees will only be able to apply for Annual Leave after the confirmation date ✓Tick on Use AL Leave Cycle for Child Care if you want the Child Care Leave to follow the Annual Leave Cycle; otherwise, specify the From and To date of the Child Care Leave ✓Prorate Child Care Leave for New Join Employee as per MOM will follow the MOM rules: http://www.mom.gov.sg/employment-practices/leave/childcare-leave/pro-rated-childcare-leave ✓Option 1 | Option 2 – select how you want the earned leave to be calculated. Please see the MOM rule from this link: http://www.mom.gov.sg/employment-practices/leave/sick-leave ✓Exclude Rest Day and PH based on Pay Group – once ticked, the Rest Day and PH will be excluded during leave application, based on the pay group assigned to the employee ✓Don’t Follow Half Day based on Pay Group - once ticked, the system will deduct 1 full day when an employee applies for a leave on a half working day ✓Leave Group Change – select how the change in leave category will take effect; starting from Join Date or Promotion Date (effective date) – When changing employee’s leave entitlement, system will base on ✓Show Dental Claim – this will activate the medical and dental claim fields in the Leave Category where you can specify how much the employee can use per year ✓Join date on or before 15th consider as full month – when prorating the Annual Leave balance, if the employee’s join date is on the 1st to the 15th of the month then it will be considered as completed month Click on
